Fantasy Road Socialz is provided by Fantasy Road Ltd. It helps people capture, prepare and, after explicit confirmation, publish photos to their own eligible Instagram account.

Photos and drafts

Webcam photos and app drafts are created and stored locally on your device. They are not uploaded when you take or save a device draft. Publishing uploads the selected JPEGs temporarily so Meta can retrieve them; they are deleted after the attempt. Scheduling uploads the approved photos and caption to the service. Photos remain until the scheduled attempt, cancellation, data deletion or missed-post processing when the app next opens. A closed app does not currently run background publishing or cleanup.

Catalogue, templates and history

When you save your brand, catalogue or caption library, those records are stored on the server against your connected Instagram account ID. Scheduled-post details, captions, delivery status and platform media IDs are also stored to provide your calendar and prevent duplicate publishing. Your access token is not stored in these records. Imported stock exports are snapshots; refreshing a configured stock feed is an explicit user action.

Automatic advertisements and inventory photos

When you enable the advertisement schedule, Socialz sends the chosen stock photo, selling price and item details to OpenAI to generate posts without a separate review of each caption. Background generation temporarily stores a response with OpenAI so the scheduler can retrieve it; Socialz requests deletion after retrieving the completed response. Imported inventory photos are copied into your account storage and posting uses separate copies. Comicz also sends whether your active membership is Pro or standard so Socialz can provide the correct branding controls. Pausing the schedule cancels pending advertisements; it cannot retract a post already being published.

AI captions and camera templates

Your optional OpenAI API key is encrypted on the server and linked to your connected Instagram account. It is never returned to the browser or shared with other users. Remove it in API key settings or delete your account data. OpenAI bills usage to the account associated with the key. Optional AI caption generation sends your selected still photo, selling price, optional notes, writing preferences and connected Instagram username to OpenAI only when you click Write caption from photo. Text-only generation sends your notes and existing caption when you click Write post. Photos are resized and re-encoded for analysis; live webcam video is not sent. The app requests that the AI response is not stored as a reusable response at the provider; the provider's own data-handling policies still apply. Generated text remains in your editor unless you save or publish it. Hashed daily usage counters limit generation; old counters are removed during later generation requests. Camera overlay templates and their imported images are saved locally on this device.

Inventory, sharing and referrals

Inventory photos, private notes and item details are stored against your Instagram account until deletion. Public stock drops show only the selected selling details and first photo. Shared templates include their text and imported images. Remove a shared page to revoke its link. Referral measurement uses a browser cookie and hashed event identifiers. A referral identifier may be retained locally to attribute later inventory use. Visits and clicks are not verified people or sales; no partner messages are sent automatically.

Recognition, research and audio

Recognition sends a selected image to OpenAI when requested. Dictation sends your recording when stopped; narration sends your reviewed script. Research sends your item details for web search and returns cited suggestions for your review. These features use your API credits. They do not authenticate collectibles or assign raw condition grades. Narrated videos are labelled as AI-generated narration.

External scheduling

When you explicitly prepare an external scheduler, your Instagram connection is stored encrypted on the server. A service holding the scheduler secret may trigger only posts you have already approved. Disabling external scheduling or disconnecting Instagram removes that stored connection. A recurring external timer must be configured separately; the app cannot promise closed-app posting before that setup.

Facebook and analytics

Optional Facebook Login uses an encrypted secure browser cookie to retain your token and selected Page. Each platform receives only the content you explicitly choose to publish to it. Performance data is retrieved from Meta when you request it. Other people using Socialz cannot access your account records.

Instagram connection

Connection uses Meta’s OAuth process. The app receives an access token and basic professional-account information such as the account ID and username. The token is encrypted in a secure, HTTP-only cookie on your browser; it is not displayed to Fantasy Road or other users.

How information is used

Information is used only to provide the requested capture, draft and publishing features. It is not sold and is not used for advertising.

Optional Windows scheduler and inventory sync

The Windows scheduling helper stores its scheduler credential encrypted for your Windows user. It runs only while the PC is awake, online and signed in. Inventory sync uses a separate revocable write key; your configured provider can update product details and availability. No provider is connected until you configure it and a successful sync is recorded.

Control and deletion

Use the data deletion page while connected to delete your server-side catalogue, templates, scheduled content and history. You can separately delete device drafts and disconnect social accounts. Disconnecting alone does not delete server records or posts already published to Instagram or Facebook. Reconnect the same Instagram account to manage its saved data, or contact us for deletion assistance.
